28 January 2012DUBAI - As many as 1,350 people of different nationalities converted to Islam in 2011 at the Islamic
Information Centre of Dar Al Ber Society in Dubai.
“They are basically attracted to the tolerant, merciful and rational teachings of Islam,” said Yusuf Al Saeed, Director of the Centre.
Hundreds of people of all nationalities visit the centre everyday to know about Islam. The number goes up day after day and more people understand how tolerant, merciful and suitable for all times and places the teachings of Islam are. “Non-Muslims have a good chance to meet new Muslims and listen to conversion stories from their compatriots in their own languages. Such a way proves an astounding success in imparting the right message of Islam,” he said.
Of the new Muslims hailing from 16 different nationalities, the Philippines topped the list with some annual 80 per cent, followed by Indians and Chinese.
Others include people from Britain, America, Germany, France, Italy, Romania, Russia and Holland. “People are touched by the merciful instructions of Islam which orders its followers to be honest, fair and kind to all people, without considering their religion, race, language and colour,” he said.
The centre recently conducted training courses under the theme: ‘How to be an effective caller for Islam’ at the lecture hall of the Dar Al Ber new premises on Shaikh Zayed road.

புனித இஸ்லாத்தை ஏற்றார் பிரபல பாடகர் ஜோஸ் கெமிலன்
பிரபல பாடகர் ஜோஸ் கெமிலன் புனித இஸ்லாத்தை ஏற்றார்
ஆப்ரிக்காவிலும் உலகம் முழுவதிலும் தனது இசையால் பலரை கொள்ளைக் கொண்ட ஜோஸ் கெமிலன் ஜாஃபர் கடாபியாக தனது வாழ்வை மாற்றியுள்ளார்.
எல்லாப் புகழும் இறைவனுக்கே!
ஆம்.. வழக்கமாக இசைத் துறையில் மற்றுமொரு புயல் வீசத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது. ஆனால் இவரது இந்த முடிவை இவரது மனைவி டேனிலா விரும்பவில்லை. கிருத்தவத்தை விட்டு இஸ்லாத்தை தேர்ந்தெடுத்த இவரோடு தன்னால் வாழ முடியாது என்று விவாகரத்து கேட்டு கோர்ட்டை நாடியிருக்கிறார்.
'நான் டேனிலாவோடு சேர்ந்து வாழவே ஆசைப்படுகிறேன். எனவே தான் ஐந்து வேளை தொழுகைக்கு பள்ளிக்கு செல்லாமல் வெள்ளிக் கிழமை மட்டுமே தொழுகைக்கு சென்றேன். இருந்தும் என் மனைவி என்னை புரிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை. தொழுகை ஒரு மனிதனுக்கு அமைதியை கொடுக்கிறது. நேர்வழியை காட்டுகிறது. இது நாள்வரை அமைதியிழந்த எனக்கு தொழுகை மூலம் அமைதி கிட்டுகிறது. இதனை எனது மனைவிக்கு புரிய வைக்க முயற்ச்சிப்பேன்' என்கிறார் ஜாஃபர் கடாபி!
இவரது முடிவை மாற்றிக் கொள்ள சொல்லி பல இடங்களில் இருந்தும் அழுத்தம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. ஆனால் இவரோ எவரது பேச்சையும கேட்பதாக இல்லை.
'என் குடும்பத்துக்காக நான் எந்த தியாகமும் செய்ய தயாராக உள்ளேன். எனது தொழில், எனது மனைவி, எனது பெற்றோர் அனைவரையும் நான் இன்றும் நேசிக்கிறேன். எவரையும் இழக்க நான் விரும்பவில்லை. ஆனால் எனது தந்தையோ ' ஜோஸப் மயாஞ்சோவாக வந்து என்னிடம் பேசு ஒரு முஸ்லிமாக ஜாஃபர் கடாபியாக என்னிடம் வராதே!' என்று கூறி விட்டார். இது எனக்கு மிகுந்த வருத்தத்தைக் கொடுக்கிறது. எனது முடிவால் எவருக்கும் மனது புண்பட்டிருந்தால் அதற்காக நான் வருந்துகிறேன்' என்கிறார் ஜாஃபர் கடாபி.
சுவனப்பிரியனான நானோ என்னைப் போன்ற பல தலைமுறைகளாக முஸ்லிம்களாக வாழ்ந்து வருபவர்களோ இது போன்ற பிரச்னைகளை சந்தித்ததில்லை. ஏனெனில் வழி வழியாக வெகு சுலபமாக எங்களுக்கு இந்த இஸ்லாம் கிடைத்து விட்டது. ஆனால் புதிதாக இஸ்லாத்தை ஏற்கும் இவரைப் பொன்றவர்கள் அனுபவிக்கும் பிரச்னைகளை நாம் சாதாரணமாக எண்ணிவிட முடியாது. எனவேதான் எங்களைவிட ஜாஃபர் கடாபி போன்றவர்கள் இறைவனுக்கு மிக நெருக்கமாகி விடுகிறார்கள்.
இசையால்தான் மனிதனின் மனதை ஒருமித்து அமைதியாக்க முடியும் என்பதனை இது போன்ற இசைக் கலைஞர்கள் தொடர்ந்து இஸ்லாத்தை ஏற்பதன் மூலம் பொய்ப்பிக்கப் படுகிறது. யூசுஃப் இஸ்லாம், ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மான், மைக்கேல் ஜாக்ஸன், ஜெராமைக் ஜாக்ஸன், ஜோஸப் மயாஞ்ஜோ என்று உலகில் இஸ்லாத்தினை ஏற்போரின் பட்டியல் நீண்டு கொண்டே செல்கிறது. புகழின் உச்சியில் இரக்கும் ஒருவன் தனது புகழுக்கு காரணமான இசையை வெறுக்கும் இஸ்லாத்தை ஏற்பது நமக்கு முரணாக தெரிகிறது அல்லவா!

கீழக்கரை அருகில் புள்ளந்தை என்ற ஊரில் வசிக்கும் ஒரே குடுபத்தை சேர்ந்த 3 நபர்கள் இஸ்லாத்தை ஏற்க முன்வந்தனர் அவர்களுக்கு கலிமா சொல்லிக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது அவர்களும் ஏக இறைவன் அல்லாஹ் ஒருவனே நபி (ஸல்) அவர் தூதர் என்றும் கலிமாவை மொழிந்து இத்தூய இஸ்லாத்தை ஏற்ற்றார்
